Preston-Hanley Honored by NFDA, Inducted into Hall of Excellence
Preston-Hanley received yet another Pursuit of Excellence Award from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) during the 2012 Convention & Expo in Charlotte, NC. This award marks the 10th consecutive year Preston-Hanley received the national recognition.
“This year’s award is even more special than usual,” D. Neale Hanley, Sr., owner, said. “We were also honored by being inducted into the NFDA Hall of Excellence. It’s a recognition that further demonstrates our consistent commitment to compassionate care and service excellence. We are dedicated – as a team – to providing care that goes beyond expectations for the families and communities we serve.”
During the ceremony, Hanley and his wife, Pat, along with his daughter, Tammie Hanley Vocatura, accepted an honorary plaque from Randall Earl, NFDA president.
Presented in the NFDA's Pursuit of Excellence Program, this award honors excellence and unshakable ethical standards in funeral service. Recipients are recognized for their outstanding service, professional integrity and dynamic public relations. The Eagle Awards and honorary plaque are on display at the Pekin funeral home.
NFDA is the leading funeral service association, serving 18,500 individual members who represent nearly 10,000 funeral homes in the United States and 43 countries around the world.
