Preston-Hanley Honored by NFDA, Inducted into Hall of Excellence (10-25-2012)
Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLC, recently received the 2012 Pursuit of Excellence Award, marking the 10th consecutive year the company received the national recognition. The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) presented the award as part of its annual conference.

Preston-Hanley's Crematory Now Operating in Pekin (2-23-2010)
Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes is now operating its own crematory at 200 South Veterans Drive, near Broadway in Pekin. Unlike most funeral homes that outsource cremation, the new crematory means that Preston-Hanley will handle the entire cremation process for client families.

New Cemetery Opens in Pekin - Prairie Haven Cemetery, LLC (10-20-2011)
A new cemetery is opening at 200 South Veterans Drive in Pekin – Prairie Haven Cemetery, LLC – and is now available for traditional burials. Situated on several acres, Prairie Haven will accommodate both traditional and cremation burials. A dedicated cremation area will be available beginning in the summer of 2012.

Preston-Hanley Congratulates Dave Vaupel, Their Newest Licensed Funeral Director (7-28-2010)
Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory is pleased to announce that Dave Vaupel has become a licensed funeral director. Although Vaupel has been with Preston-Hanley since 2000, he received his license in July. He is also a certified crematory operator.

D. Neale Hanley II Awarded Certified Preplanning Consultant Designation (11-18-2008)
D. Neale (“Buster”) Hanley, II, funeral director at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes LLC, recently earned the designation of Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC), awarded by the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA). The CPC designation is nationally recognized as the standard of excellence in funeral service.
