PEKIN ~ Kevin Lewis Ritchie, 55, of 115 Hamilton St., passed away at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday, Jun. 29, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born Nov. 29, 1954 in Pekin to Willard and Madeline (Hill) Ritchie, Sr. 

His parents and three brothers, Scott, Willard Jr., and Brian, preceded him in death.

Surviving are two brothers, Robert Dean Ritchie and Donald Wayne Ritchie, both of Pekin; two sisters, Sandra K. Ritchie of Pekin and Cynthia A. (Richard) Miller of Tremont; and several nieces and nephews.

Kevin last worked as a groundskeeper for Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.

He loved fishing, mushroom hunting and hanging out with friends.

His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Timothy Najpaver will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
