PEKIN ~ Virginia L. Graham, 73, of 1128 Koch Street, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Morton Villa Nursing Center.

Born January 16, 1937 in Fountain Run, Kentucky to Clinton J. and Nelle E. (Simmons) McIntyre, she married Carl F. Trantham on July 14, 1955 in Peoria.

She later married James Graham.  He preceded her in death.  She also is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Barbara A. Cathy and three brothers, Donald R. McInyre, Fonis E. McIntyre and William F. McIntyre.

She is survived by two daughters, Carla K. Wood of Creve Coeur and Diana L. (Rick) Evans of Pekin.  She has one grandson, Jason A. Smith of Pekin; two step-grandsons, Court (Courtney) Evans and Justin (Shama) Evans; one step-great-grandson, Knox Evans; one sister, Brenda K. (Steven) Dowdell of Dunlap; and two brothers, Larry G. (Bonnie) McIntyre of Peoria and Wallace (Wylene) McIntyre of Buckatunna, Mississippi.

Virginia was a homemaker most of her life and cherished her two daughters her entire life.  They were her life.  Fishing was the second love of her life!

She has several nieces, nephew and family members that will miss her dearly.  She was loved by many.  She had a very special way about her.

Sis, I have so many wonderful memories as sisters, that you will live in my heart forever.  I love and miss you so much.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Private graveside services will be held at Jolliff Cemetery in Rover, Missouri.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. 

The family will receive friends for a luncheon at 1128 Koch Street (Koch Street Mini Storage) after the visitation from 3:30 until 5 p.m.
