EAST PEORIA ~ Patricia S. Taylor, 63, of Washington, formerly of East Peoria, passed away at 7:55 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 at Washington Christian Village.
She was born February 16, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to Claude and Kathleen (Reynolds) Owens.
Surviving are her son, Zac (Shalena Meis) Taylor of Warrenville; one daughter, Sara (Jon) Cramer of Peoria; three grandchildren, Samantha Hackman, Emma Cramer and David Cramer, all of Peoria; and one sister, Barbara (Kevin) Bonawitz of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joyce and Jean; and two brothers, Jerry and Jim.
She was a member of the Creve Coeur Christian Church, where she volunteered with Bible School, Rainbows End Daycare and at Washington Christian Village.
She loved and impacted the lives of many. She will be remembered for her smile, sense of humor and the joy she brought to everyone in her life.
The family would like to thank the staff at Washington Christian Village for the exceptional care and support she received.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Creve Coeur Christian Church. Rev. John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur is in charge of arrangements.
