EAST PEORIA ~ Anna Marie DePrima, 81, of East Peoria, passed away at 9:38 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at her home.

She was born October 6, 1930 in Rockford to Tony and Helen Marie (Chandler) DePrima.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; mother, Helen Tomlinson; and one brother, Gene Emert.

A homemaker, Anna enjoyed painting pictures.  She was a former volunteer with the American Red Cross.

Anna was a member of Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral.  The Rev. Kurt Mews will officiate.  Burial will be at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens.
