CREVE COEUR ~ Pearl Juanita Chambers, 70 of 2220 State St., Pekin, formerly of Creve Coeur, passed away at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Timbercreek Rehab in Pekin.

She was born October 16, 1941 in Peoria to William and Bertha (Flanigan) Elmore.

Surviving are one sister, Edith Kinsman of Washington; one brother, Carl Elmore of Murrayville, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and three brothers.

She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Creve Coeur.

Pearl enjoyed doing embroidery and babysitting.

Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.  The Rev. Dwight Winnett will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior.
