PEKIN ~ Donald Dean Norris, 81, of pekin, passed away at 6:30 p.m., Wednesdy, July 11, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born September 21, 1930 in Pekin to Fred and Anna (Nichols) Norris.

Surviving are 1 sister, Virginia Norris of Pekin; 1 niece, Beverly Kay Boldery of Lewistown; 2 grand nephews, Brian and Victor Boldery , both of Lewistown; and 1 grand niece, Kim Dunnigan of Canton.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

He worked for Corn Products Corporation in Pekin for 30 years, retiring in 1981.

Don enjoyed fishing, traveling, and watching Chicago Cubs baseball.

Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A graveside service will announced at a later date.
