PEKIN ~ Lois Jeanne Donahue, 85, of Pekin, passed away at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Pekin Manor.

She was born October 17, 1926 in Pekin to John R. and L. Mildred (Hunter) Martens.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daniel Donahue and one sister, Joann Stamerjohn.

Surviving are two daughters, Pamela (Doug) Robinson of New Concord, KY and Linn Zander of Mt. Horeb, WI; four sons, Ed (Sherry) Donahue of Murray, KY, Douglas (Cecilia) Donahue of Blue Springs, MO, Tim (Terri) Donahue of Marquette Heights and John Donahue of Lacon; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Mary Jane Feltner of Pekin.

She last worked at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin.  In earlier years she worked at the former Isolina Hotel in Pekin.

Lois was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin, where she attended the Friendship Club.

Private services will be held with burial in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.  The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
