PEKIN ~ Leah Annette Crigger, 55, of Pekin, passed away at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at her home.

Born January 23, 1963 in Pekin to Johnny and Donna (Faux) Goldman, she married David Crigger on March 10, 1979 in South Pekin. They later divorced.

Surviving are her mother, Donna Goldman of Pekin; one son, Dwight (Natalie Newman) Crigger of Manito; four grandchildren, Caleb Crigger, Kylee Johnson, Gavin Crigger and Abbygale Crigger; one brother, James Goldman of Pekin; three nieces, Christen Allen, Casey Goldman and Emanda Goldman and several nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Daniel Crigger and one sister, Gina Farris.

Leah had worked at Heart Communications in Peoria for 15 years.

She loved cooking, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Randy Justus will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be given to Team Karly, a current St. Jude patient at 1 Dominion Ct., Pekin, IL 61554.
