WYOMING ~ Margaret Lynne Eoff, 77, of Wyoming, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria.
She was born September 4, 1940 in Peoria to John R. and Arbell M. (Bowen) Messer, she married the love of her life, Joseph T. Eoff on December 8, 1984 in Galveston, Texas. He died August 18, 2004 in Laredo, Texas. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Brandon Edenburn; four sons, Brian, John, Dale Lutz and Todd Brooks; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Brooks; two brothers, Richard and Delmar Messer and one sister, Sharon Collins.
Surviving are her daughters, Shelly (Ron) Kettle of West Jersey, Debbie (Greg) Sherlock of Bellevue and Tina (Terry) Rabenau of Peoria, 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, and two brothers, John Roller of Colorado and Patrick Messer of Texas.
A homemaker, Margaret had also worked at Hiram Walker in Peoria for 13 years.
Margaret enjoyed quilting, crocheting and working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. Margaret was a generous person, who instilled values, faith and unconditional love in her children and extended family.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Leah Grayer will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
