PEKIN ~ Lucinda Sue Adams, 72, of Pekin, passed away at 1:21 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room in Peoria.
She was born December 29, 1945 in Canton, North Carolina to Robert and Edith (Long) Holland. Her parents; one grandson, Brandon Lingham; and one brother, George Holland preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly Denise (Steven) Fiscus of Peoria; one son, Jason Michael Leath of Creve Coeur; four grandchildren; and one brother, Jack (Beverly) Holland of Canton, North Carolina. She also leaves behind his true friend, Jeff Pfanz of Pekin.
Lucinda formerly attended Calvary Baptist Church in Pekin.
She was the former owner-operator of Creve Coeur Café until 1981 and the Goose Pit Bar & Grill in Banner until 1997.
Lucinda was a former member of the Pekin/Peoria Bowling League. She loved bingo, karaoke and painting ceramics.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.
