Judith A. McKinley

PEKIN ~ Judith Anne “Judy” McKinley, 80, of Pekin, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her home.

Born November 26, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry Ray and Margaret Olive (Lovell) Frenz, she married Donald Eugene “Mac” McKinley on June 30, 1957 in Modesto.  He died September 30, 1983.  Her parents also preceded her in death.

Surviving are four daughters, Marsha Goss of Pekin, Debbie (Jim) Weis of Manito, Janet McKinley and Penny (Kenneth) Major, both of Pekin; two sons, Brad (Jill) McKinley and Richard (Sue) McKinley, both of Pekin; twelve grandchildren, Ashley (Steven) Speakman of Creve Coeur, Stephanie (Rob) Friend and Lindsey Goss, both of Pekin, Zackery Weis of Manito, Brittany Weis, Shannon (Brandon) Dault, Amber (Jeremy) Winstead, Justin Major, all of Pekin, Tyler McKinley of Green Valley, Tara (Jason) Woll and Jennifer (Colton) Conover, both of Pekin, and Shelby McKinley of Sunnyland; and nine great-grandchildren, Seth, Jesse, Adaein, Hunter, Avery, Tyson, Carson, Wyatt, and Alexander.

A homemaker, Judy had worked in the office for both J & B Disposal and Sears.

Judy will be remembered for having a great love for her family, being independent and opinionated, always getting what she wants, and was known as the “Queen Bee”.  She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, scratch-off lottery tickets, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. 

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Tyler McKinley, her grandson, will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. There will be a gathering following the burial at the Marine Corps , 13370 Garman Road in Pekin
